The non-psychoactive varieties of cannabis, known as hemp, offer a great number of useful things for humanity. Seed, root, stalk, flowers \u2014 the entire plant is utilized, providing everything from cheap biomass to active ingredients of the highest value for the pharmaceutical industry. A single commodity can drive a thousand and one industries.<\/span><\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

Hemp is the name given to non-psychoactive varieties of Cannabis. Normally, the law designates by this name any Cannabis that has in its flowers less than 0.3% THC, the most psychoactive substance in marijuana. This plant is not included in international treaties that prohibit the cultivation and trade of drugs \u2014 producing and selling Hemp should not be restricted. But for many years, there were great difficulties, especially in the international market. This has changed a lot in the last decade, with the regulation of Hemp in most of the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result, Hemp has become a commodity, produced on all continents and marketed for a large number of uses in the most diverse industries.<\/span><\/p>\n
